Nawab Papadum is a plain papadum made in Chennai, India, and exported to the UK. It is an authentic plain papadum used in Indian festivals and originated from ritualistic history. Virtually all British nationals know what papadum is. Our papadums are high in quality and made especially in Madras, now known as Chennai, and the surrounding areas. Papadums expand when cooked and are long-lasting to keep stored, but it mainly depends on the weather and mature ingredients. The best temperature for producing papadums is in Bikaner, Rajasthan, and the Chennai surrounding area, previously called Madras. Only the Chennai area in India makes plain papadum for the UK. Nawab Papadum is handmade using all the natural and finest ingredients. The papadum dough is made with lentils, rice flour, salt, and vegetable oil.
